Precision Climate Control for Fine Art Storage
At a fine arts storage facility, the HVAC system plays a critical role in protecting what’s inside. For Atelier, Service Unlimited, Inc. installed a Liebert split system with new ductwork and AirMax fabric air distribution to support the precise temperature and humidity requirements of the storage space. The installation paired insulated rectangular and round metal ductwork with overhead AirMax fabric duct runs, distributing conditioned air throughout the space. Routing and installing the system required careful coordination around the building’s existing structure, storage racks, and valuable collections—with the same attention to detail in the installation that the facility demands in caring for its contents.
Just as important as the finished system was how the work was carried out. Atelier remained open for business throughout the project, requiring our team to coordinate work areas, overhead installation, and material movement around ongoing operations. Working in close proximity to high-value artwork made thoughtful planning, clear communication, and careful execution essential at every stage.
The completed installation supports Atelier’s commitment to maintaining a controlled environment for fine art storage. It also showcases SUI’s ability to take on technically demanding projects where protecting the customer’s property and keeping their business moving are central to the job.
